The world starts here…well, at least a good chunk of it does for Conny and I.
For those of you not in the know, my name is David and my better half is Conny. We have just given up our jobs with the intent of seeing a large part of the world before real life finally slaps our arses.
This is not your everyday travel blog or site, it’s not really a guide per se, although, we will obviously point out the more helpful folk and hopefully some interesting stuff along the way, but really, it is more of a collection of our general musings along the way. The words will mostly be mine, the pictures mostly Conny’s.As such, it may be incoherent, it is in no way a diary, and to be honest, I might apply some artistic liberty regarding the truth in some of the taller tales.
Quite frankly, who knows what will become of it? I certainly don’t, but in the mean time, I do hope to keep those of you who are interested, interested as much as we hope to entertain.
You should not expect a daily update, masses of useful tips and tricks (although I won’t omit them by choice), detailed itineraries, sleek design (see below) or beautiful prose.
You can probably expect some unexpected tales, some opinions(I am after all an opinionated man) and some observations, along with some(probably a lot) colourful language.
I also have no clue what I am doing with a website as I learned to write HTML in 1999, and promptly gave up in 2000. As such, I offer my apologies now if this website turns out to be beyond poor!
